Quick question for you lovely Aber people!

After looking through the first couple of pages of this forum, it seems we have quite a lot of individual 'I am a student, any questions?' threads. I've also noticed that if a question is asked on one, the poster usually posts the same question on the other threads to get a answer.

To make the place a little tidier, I'm thinking of creating a student Q&A megathread, it should (in theory...) make it easier to post a question and easier for people to answer them as it'll all be in one place.

The megathread would be stickied on the forum so it'll be easy to find. To stick with the "I'm a student...", there could be featured users answering questions, with a possible mini profile stating their year and course so any precise questions can be easily quoted to them.

If you have any ideas or thoughts on this please post below. :smile:

Reasoning behind it is that there are too many and that its all the same questions. A core group of 4 or 5 users could easily maintain answering questions with specialist course knowledge dropped in when needed.

Maybe also have people who have dealt with the different estate agents around Aberystwyth. I can see that being useful come November.

I've applied this year, so I'd definitely find it helpful if you could get this going. I'm not sure how much people would use it though, however you don't know unless you give it a try!

It would get used, there's so many 'I'm a student, any questions' type threads that are being used. It's just more efficient to have them all in one.
