    Here are the three alternative methods of rationing possible:

    1. Those who put in the most to the financing of the nhs could be entitled to draw out the most. This would favour the old rather than the young

    2.The lottery principle coule be used. There might be a 'lucky draw' involving everyone needing treatment. All would have equal chance of obtaining, or being excluded from, treatment in any given budgetary period.

    3.The notion of blame, namely that persons deemed to be responsible for their own illhealth should be accorded lower priority than innocnet victims of disease. There is some evidence that this method of rationing is used in the NHS, even though it is not officially sanctioned

    yea so itd be cool if you could give me information about how to write about disadvantages and advantages of using the above rationing strategies, i kinda find it hard to use economic theories to write this past question up
