Hairy Nipples!!!

How embarrassing is this....but my nipples are hairy!

They never used to be, but now there's like four or five dark, long hairs on each nipple, which are really obvious against my pale skin. I've shaved them off before, and that just made it itchy. I plucked them, and they just grew back within a couple of days. Everytime I'm with a guy and he goes to touch that, er, area, I have to quickly think, "Did I pluck my nipples??" before I can let him down there!

It's so annoying. Does anyone else have this problem and is it possible to get rid of them once and for all?!
wierd. i suggest waxing tho because they will grow back lighter and less obvious

yes
hairy nipples are common.
maybe electrolysis? or lazer treatment? that would get rid of them permanently. But maybe with the area being close to the heart then you might not be able to do that. You could also try bleaching the hairs?
Apparantly most women have this problem to an extent - there wa an article recently in a magazine which said tweezing was the best option. Shaving causes ingrown hairs, and creams/waxes can irritate the really sensitive skin there...

my bf has some little hairs on his nipples.. i think they are cute

though he doesn't seem to like me going near his nipples.. he says they are too sensitive and even he can't touch them for long.. :s-smilie: weird.

though for a girl.. i do'nt know.. never heard of that before.

but like..

ouch.
apparantly, as a friend has just told me, hairs on the nipples tend to stop growing back after pregnancy (they fall of...) she say its common, and she's experienced. apparantly it's supposed, evolution-wise, to protect the nipples. don't worry, it's not as rare as you think! most women have them, and so do most of your friends, except they prbbly wont go around saying that, obviously...
Plucking nipple hairs is hardly painful at all to be honest, I think it's the easiest part to remove hair from!
the more you pluck them, the more ruined the root gets so they take longer and longer to grow back.

I HAVE HAIRY NIPPLES!!!!

plucking hurts. shaving stings. leaving them = best way.

if the hair grows long enough, wow i could think about platting.

for a girl, i dont know, the human body is amazing, remove them if they are bothernig you that much, which you said they are, ask your doctor, get some cream... inject your self with anti nipple hair stuff.... im really not sure :s-smilie:

or just continue to do what you are doing! mighty painfull plucking though, ouch!
