How would you act if someone close to you found out about your lies

Basically boys and girls, what would your reaction be if a close friend or partner found out some lies you told about yourself? I'm sure this is quite a common phenomenon, you always see it in the movies hehe. E.g. Jim Carey as an example, and you CRINGE for him :biggrin:

Just like, where you might be from, or personal things like that which you don't wanna talk about b/c you've had bad experiences from revealing them in the past before. Or illnesses or something! Like when people ask you and it's none of their business.

Do they have actual proof you lied tho? Because if they don't you can always deny it...or in future just say it's none of their business.

I think everyone lies, at least at some point. Besides, lying is arguably a healthy, natural, necessary thing at times....it can be done for individual good, common good and so on. In fact, it's kind of a compliment if you do lie to your friends and likewise as it shows you feel comfortable doing so with them as your company etc...and it shows that if they are exaggerating, they actually care about what you think which is surely a nice thing :biggrin:

There's different ways of looking at things :wink:

depends what the lies you told or secrets you are keeping are about. if they're v personal then your friend has no right to demand you to tell her/him about them. but if they affect him/her then maybe.. LIE again! lol :P:
