    Hello,

I wish to do English and History joint honours at university and i got AAB in my AS, thus being rejected from Durham+York which is quite annoying. However, i got accepted at Sheffield, Leeds and Sussex for ABB - i've not heard from Birmingham, which is my top choice at the moment - however this is as fickle as the wind as i really like Sheffield also.

Intrinsically, I'm wondering what your opinions are in terms of Shefflied, Birmingham, Leeds and Sussex - which would you choose and why?

(is anyone around here doing a joint honours degree of English and History???? and if so which universities??)

I can't say anything about Sheffield or Sussex because I haven't looked into them, but I know that Leeds, despite perhaps not having the same prestige as Durham and York, has a good reputation for English. It was included in a newspapre article about History degrees alongside Cambridge, Oxford, York and Warwick. Hope that helps!
