Yes there is a point to detox, it will clean out all the nasty toxins and chemicals that you have consumed.

but you have to be careful doing it cos u can really screw ur body doing it

Not really. It may be fashionable these days, but the effects aren't very long-lasting, and you can put your health in danger. It's far better to just make long-term permanent changes to your diet instead of going from one extreme to the other. Being on a yo-yo of bingeing and purging really won't help you much.

That said, what methods are you using?
