Anyone on a SLT course

Hi,

I've just accepted a place at Greenwich University to start PGDip SLT in Jan. I was wondering, are there any books current students recommend to read before I start? Thanks.

The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime by Mark Haddon

My Stroke of Insight by Dr Jill Bolte Taylor

The Man Who Mistook His Wife For a Hat by Oliver Sacks

The Diving Bell and the Butterfly by Jean-Dominique Bouby

A Career in Speech and Language Therapy by Jannet Wright and Myra Kersner (I think this one may be out of print)

Just a few off the top of my head.

Congratulations! I can't wait to hopefully be in this position over the next few months.
