    Ive just started a new diet, HIIT and resistance training, coupled with **** food 6 times a day. Wonder how long I can keep this up for.

    yes; i eat only things containing vegetables and fruit, with limited carbohydrate and protein intake, your body will have to use up fat reserves for energy... that coupled with lots of exercise :P

    i am overweight..and i had put on 2 stone since leaving college...i used to be a size 12 now i am 14/16 (well i was b4 diet)...
    i used to weigh 9stone 7 to 10 stone somewhere round there....
    then i weighed 12 stone!!

    now i have been on my diet i weigh 10 stone 12
    i want to get back to what i was b4....

    so what, big is beautiful remember. be proud of who u are, dont give in to media pressures, u dnt have to look thin, be urself and b proud girl!!!

    it says i am 24- which is the top end of normal...
    my target weight of 9 stone 7 would give me 21

    but i will be happy somewhere between 9 stone 7 and 10 stone...

    this is all in the normal range...

    i suppose the most important thing is to be happy and healthy

    It depends on your frame, and fat/muscle ratio.....you could be pretty heavy on the scales but slim as muscle weighs heavier than fat.
    For example, I am very much into sports - I am only 5'5 and size 10 but i actually weigh over 9 1/2 stone. So I am far heavier than i look.

    Also the 'safe' amount to loose each week would actually depend on what you weighed in the beginning & what kind of diet you are thinking of trying?

    Yes, but you have to sustain such a regime, cos as you start eating carbohydrates again your weight will shoot back up. And fruit are a big source of carbohydrates.

    im afraid that is ideological thinking there. it matters a whole lot that you look 100% conformist, otherwise life is much harder. be nice if being overweight mattered for nothing, but in this life its not the case. consider health as well.

    Yeah As long as you are not eating unhealthily or anything you should be fine, you're not even overweight anyway

    yeah but i was :-)

    i am eating lots of fruit- fruit for breakfast and break
    then lots of salad and either pasta, small jacket potato or toast with tuna or chicken for lunch..with fruit for pudding...
    then an ordinary tea but no pudding!!
    (except i ahve allowed myself a small pudding at the weekend) :-)

    i think i am actually eating more healthy than normal!!!

    i like my new diet- it has given me much more energy...and i am starting to fit into the clothes that were too tight before!!

    i just want to look like i used to- as long as i am healthy in doing it and i don't loose too much weight and stop when i get to my target wight that's ok isn't it?
