What is that supposed to mean?

She now teaches children topics which in the past were being taught to them at least 2 years later.
in the past there wasn't so much "coaching" towards exams.
    Ridiculous? I think not.
I meant that according to your logic, now everyone is better. But grades are comparative - if everyone did really well, they'd raise the boundaries so that it is more difficult to get an A.

Here are mine, all on the Edexcel board...

    Maths:
    S1 - 95/100 (A)
    M2 - 87/100 (A)
    P2 - 67/100 (C - oops)

    History:
    Unit 1 - 96/120 (A - just!) up from 80/120

So relieved - especially about M2, was sure I'd messed up big time - now I only need to get a C in P3 for an A overall... tho I'm also retaking P2.

    General Studies, 73/90 woohoo!!
and 45/90 on my chemistry resit, i was only 3 marks away from getting a C overall which would have been brilliant, but alas

would it be worth having it remarked? As i dropped it for AS i won't be able to improve and won't resit it again.

Not unless there are any uni offers which depend on it. Otherwise i'd say just leave it.

No uni offers depend on it but personally i just want a C grade, i worked pretty hard for the exam and i thought that i got somewhere nearer to 65 marks rather than 45.
I know that i have to go through school to make an appeal but well i was just wondering of peoples experiences with remarking, its edexcel as well if that helps.

I got an A and a B for AS ICT, which I think is reasonably good for a year 11, do you think I should retake the B?

I've never had a remark...but the teachers in my school say it's normally only worth it if you only need to gain a coupla extra marks, so yo might want to...though it's quite expensive.

In my opinion...you should just leave it...cos it really doesn't matter....but it's your choice.
