I like Slow and Soft

Dunno about diseases though, not that I can remember

There's so many threads on this, if it's a first kiss between two people then it doesn't really matter, but gentle.
Imagination and variation - just like my gf!

I don't really know. But I got off with someone last week who was a *horrible* kisser. Really fast and too much tongues eww.
Someone who can do soft and slow, and really passionate and heated. Someone whos not too sloppy, I don't like lots of saliva, if I have his spit all around my mouth it isn't good. Someone who doesn't think its all about the tongue, and just waggle it around and try and choke me. Someone who knows kissing isn't all about the lips! The nose and the neck are great places to be kissed too. Hmmm what else, someone who's creative, and you can kiss forever without getting bored. Finally, and probably most importantly, someone without smelly breath and chapped lips

Put simply: Passion.

If they can't kiss well they'll be useless at everything else.

Not too much teeth.
Yep slow and soft, but if it gets heated and passionate its nice having a girl trying to eat your face
Do braces ever pose a problem??

Variety for one thing. Sometimes you need a slow, gentle kiss with him holding your face, and other times it's a lot more passionate and arse-grabbing .

Not too much tongue, teeth or saliva. Nice breath and soft lips.

I think that's about it.

ye, i had braces aggges ago and when i was kissing a guy he got his toungue stuck in them and gave him a cut...was really great.:frown:
I like my kisses really really really slow and soft...makes the kiss even more intimate you know...and makes you aware of every little thing. a fast but passionate one is gorgeous too, when a bf and I can't get enough of each other :P

Grabbing of the crotch.
It COMPLETELY depends on the situation, and then of course personal preference. I doubt there's such a thing as an all-round amazing kisser actually, you might kiss someone and have them think you're an amazing kisser, but then have someone else think it was crap. Best thing to do is guestimate what kind of kisser a person will be and adjust to it - something that's impossible to do if you hook up with a random n a club - hence those kisses usually being nasty slobberfests.

There is one disease that I know of associated with kissing and that is Infectious Mononucleosis or Mono for short, often referred to as the 'kissing disease' - it is quite famous in American sitcoms (mentioned quite a lot on Scrubs).

But it's not too serious because it is more contagious when someone with the disease sneezes or coughs.

Better known in the UK as Glandular Fever. A mate of mine has it at the moment, heh. He was really bad with it though, his neck was swollen up like... ugh... can't even describe it, but there was this huge lump on the side of it. He's been off Uni for two months, has had to get extensions on all of his work etc.

Apparently it can be pretty nasty and can take a while to clear up completely. Though (like chickenpox) if you get it when you're really young it's a lot less serious, often no symptoms at all, and you'll develop the antibodies and so not get it later in life. It's only really known as "the kissing disease" because a lot of early teens get it when they start kissing. It can like you said more easily be caught other ways, like coughing / sneezing. You can also get it by drinking out of someone elses bottle / glass... so be careful :p:

Hmm I think the best kisses are very tender, just a brush of the lips almost. Tho tis also nice when a girl is quite forceful and grabs you towards her.
I know this isn't exactly kissing, but i like it when a guy strokes my face at the same time....*sighs*
