Doubt there are any qualified dentists here, and even if there are I suspect they'd have to examine the tooth to tell you. Guess all you can do is go to your dentist and see what they say.

I broke one of my front teeth in a fight (a karate one tho) and it was broken about 2/3 of the way up. HUrt like hell tho as the nerve was exposed. My dentist just stuck it back on with some special adhesive (not UHU) and it was fine until i had an accident whilst setting up a lighting rig at college. It got knocked out again so he made an artifical bit to replace the old bit. Saying all of that tho i will probs be getting a crown on later on in life as the dead bit of tooth does actually go darker than the rest of ur teeth. Anyway, dont worry about it it will all be fine im sure.

If your tooth is chipped 3/4s of the way up, can they still stick it back on? Do you have to get it crowned or will they take the tooth out and give you a false one?
this happened to me when i was younger although it was about 1/2 of the tooth, and it was one of the front ones. I just have like a false piece of tooth attatched to the natural tooth. You'd think it wouldn't be a strong bond but it is. As for yours, they may do the same but my guess is that they will probably file the remaining tooth down a bit and fit a crown or veneer because of where the tooth snapped. Just try and get to a dentist as soon as.

it would depend on the damage that been done to the bit of your tooth thats remaining concerning roots etc, i got my two front teeth knocked out and got false ones but theyre not really that bad, so dont worry about it too much.

just hope your not a student over 18 and you have to pay for all your dentist treatment
