Any type of sweet? Or just a specific one?

I've tried a variety and they all seem to have the same effect sadly.

Must be something like having a problem with a common ingredient of sweets. Either that or you don't like sucking on things (which is doubtful).

I'm going with the old doctor joke advice and advising you in this case to simply avoid eating sweets. Problem solved.

If you want to actually find out why, then I'm not essentially sure. I've got plenty of foodstuffs that I know will make me feel groggy and I've learned that Tesco's doughnuts, while delicious, will result in headaches and awful hangovers if combined with alcohol for me. I suppose I'm one of those people who are happy to use their digestive system, but have absolutely no interest in what goes on therein.

Is it a recent thing or have you always had this problem?

Fleece
It appears that every time I eat a sweet (just the one will do) I feel so damn ill - really bad headaches and feeling really groggy and nauseated.

Any ideas?
...don't eat sweets?

maybe it disturbs your blood sugar too much, or you could be allergic to a preservative or colouring or something. what about chocolate, fizzy drinks, orange juice and stuff like that?
