Has anyone ever drunk so much that their liver feels like it's going to explode. Is it true that the liver never fully regenerates if you damage it? I've been on 3 12-hour pub sessions in a row. My liver hurts.

Then you're stupid. Stop drinking.

I always heard that it did regenerate. Eat some foods that cleanse the liver; most very green vegetables do that, brocoli for instance, you'll have to google it to find some more as I'm not entirely sure what they are.

You'll probably die from cirrhosis at 30... but you'll be too drunk to know, don't worry about it.

The liver does grow back but I think once 80% of it is damaged it is far too late.

If it has gone past 80% though you may not be here now, once that happens the liver stops functioning which means the other organics can't function properly either and you end up dying from muliple organ failiure like my grandad (he had a liver operation that went wrong).

Just stop drinking for a week or so and when you do start drinking again take it very easy.

well I've never experienced liver pain but some of my friends did...apparenly after long and intensive sessions of drinking (not 3 days, mut several weeks) you should go 2 or 3 months on abstinence.. your liver wont regenerate but your body will get rid of all (or at least most of) the waste and you'll be fit for drinking again  or maybe that's too extreme..some people can't bear 3 months without a drop of alcohol...depends on you ...
