How come? Oh dear, lol, I have no idea of the rules on this place  I'd better be careful.
I'll be coming! I've never done greek before and I can't wait...
They're very intensive I think, which results in heightened party attitude when it's not work time.
Just wait till B night halfway through...or bad taste or whatever they come up with this time. Mucho drinking there, though still fun if you don't drink.

Oh, and the Aristophanes play is always fantastic. In fact the whole thing is fantastic and provides many weird and memorable moments. I went twice...ahh, Bryanston.

OH one of my best friends is going there! He's doing Classics at St Annes, Oxford next year and is going to the Greek JACT camp this summer to brush up on his GCSE Greek lol.
I was going to go on the Latin one last year, but I decided to go to Spain instead:biggrin:
Bryanston rocks! I went last year, was so much fun. The Greek is intensive, but it really helps you, and the play is also intensive! It's particularly useful for people who hold offers for/considering applying to Oxbridge, but everyone enjoys it.
Tritogeneia - It's going through the alphabet! Last time was P and Q, so this time R, or R and S. The idea (for everyone who hasn't been) is to dress up as something beginning with that letter. It's great fun!
Wow, P and Q already! I'd love to see what people come up with - it's always funny seeing classicists do this, you tend to get some rather odd costumes that wouldn't be found elsewhere. In my year we had Boreas, Bousphoros and several Bacchantes (including yours truly ) There was also a Bacchus, who got very very drunk because everyone kept pouring him 'libations'. Gotta love it.
Hehe! We had a Pope, a PE teacher, a pervert/paedophile, a Harry Potter, a paperweight (genius costume: sellotape a sheet of paper to each foot, et voila) and tons more
oof, im going to the latin one because im doing classics next year at oxford and dont have any classical subjects beyond GCSE.

it should be lovely.

Well I went to Malaga last summer for a few weeks, and this year I might go to Barcelona (for significantly longer tho), but I'm hoping to get a job in a school in Argentina actually, should be immense:biggrin:

Oh and my friend got his Greek confirmation letter from JACT too (just to keep on topic:wink:)
