Insane levels of attraction/love=out of control?

Have you ever been so insanely attracted to someone, or so in love with them, that even though you knew there were reasons you shouldn't get together (not lack of compatability, but they had a partner, or were in a position of authority, or you were, etc) you just couldn't help yourself? & have you felt so strongly that you couldn't always hide it even when other people were around and you needed to?

No, if you get to that point I would think clinical co-depedency may be an issue.

well once I had this major crush on one of my teachers.. which actually helped me because I got better in his classes since I wanted to please him... but then it really disturbed me that I couldn't talk to him without having remarks with double meanigs etc....but it was more of a psychological than physical attraction since he was much older.. :P:

OMG im in the exact same situation as you!! i think its more a psychological attraction than a physical attraction too. i like someone in a position of authority and i cant always hide it even when other people are around me. i am insanely attracted to him but i cant get together with him...

pm me if you want- your situation is exactly the same as mine...if only you werent anonymous...

yes, you feel like you're torturing each other because you both know you aren't in a position to do something about it but the rush you get with every innuendo is addictive... it can get a bit out of control though, if you're going through this now, be careful you know when to call it a day or he might start to find a way to take it further...

YUS! This amazingly gorgeous Aussie guy that worked at my local when I was 17. Ended up going out with him for like a year and a half but lookin back I was attracted to the fact that he was a bit older and had lots of experience. I think girls are quite attracted to guys who seem in control and confidence is seriously sexy. Never fancied a teacher though, but that's more because I've never had any cute teachers.

oh, definitely. my ex was a horrible psycho who treated me awfully, but i wa so attracted to him that i let him back into my life so many times... i knew he was just using me, but i was so into him that i would rather have him use me, than not have him at all.

sounds crazy, and awful, but that was the situation... i don't ever want to get into anything like that again. NOW, if it was crazy love over somebody who loved me back just as much and was actually a decent guy, that would be great!

well I have only one more week of school left...I'm 18 and he's... I really dont know..maybe 50? But I think you misunerstood me :smile:

there really is/was nothing physical about my crush on him ... :wink:
