Me and my freinds have been tempted to buy a £200 video camera and hope to get our money back a couple of times..

I'm sure they get millions of faked (yet funny) videos. If you want to stand a chance of getting your videos accepted, they must be extremely unfunny, predictable, and consist of A) an old lady stumbling B) a toddler making a funny face C) someone slipping and falling over.

If any one of these HILARIOUS events are to occur in your video, chances are £250 is yours.

Exactly, because we all find a toddler falling off a swing and crying just so freaking hilarious!! :toofunny: :indiff:

My old canoeing instructor did! It was just a "people being hit by big wave" thing too
Lately it also seems as though you have to be American to get a feature. Every other one is American.

my friend sent a video in which was actuallt real but the tape never got shown! So i doubt theres much hance of a faked video getting through unless nits really good and really funny! Good Luck and you might as well do it anyway as the laughs that you would get doing it would make it worth while!

Damn this rapant process of Americanisation, soon we will be forced to speak with American accents at gun point!

My friends got a video of me going flying backwards off a seesaw. She wants to send it in to YBF but I'm not sure since most of them get rejected (except the American ones)

I've sent in about 3 and it did'nt get shown once...at least it would be a change from people falling over all the time. I've also noticed that most of the videos are American

Not watched it since Mandy Dingle stopped doing it
They probably pay the Americans $250.

This is an old thread....
In the days of VHS and Jeremy Beadle when video cameras were quite a bit rarer, someone I know had some money from some footage they shot shown on that show. Not sure how much it was back then though.

That's because that isn't actually funny.
Don't forget the fact that your video needs to be from the early 90's.

We sent a video in in march! And a friend spotted it on tv on Saturday! I looked for myself and there it was! And we have received no money! And no answer to any emails! We also would have never of known it was on tv if it wasn't for my friend stopping it! All I want to know is where is the money they owe us?
