I collected data from 30 people, giving ratings for 10 married couples.

Which leaves me with 300 bits of data, from 30 different participants.

Should I now do the ranks all the way up to 300.. or should I.. um.. total the results for the males & females for each participant and then do the ranks from 1-30.

Sorry if this doesnt make sense. Maths is not my strong point.


i dunno what ure on abt (but thats probably cos im stupid) but im revising spearmans rank correlation coefficient right now for an S3 exam tmrrw which im screwed in !! n e way is that what ure tlkn bout ?

That was a bit confusing but from what I made of it, I'd do the ranks from 1-30, just cos it'll be easier to work with :smile:
