So..what is it like then? I've just swapped my postgrad law place from london to guildford as i fancied another year of countryside.

yea i live in Guildford its amazing there are regarding the clubs/bars there are loads . If you are up for a dance i would recommend going to the Drink or bar mambo but be warned can be £12 entry and drinks are pretty expensive . Time the night club supposed to be really good best time to go out is on monday and thurz night as its student night and drinks are like £1 or something.

yeh so if you get it right then you could move around and get 3 student nights in a week. cool

rubix (the union club) is open wednesday

Guildford is more of a pub town. The clubs (all 2 of them) are total ****. Really small, and full of tossers. The bars/pubs are a diff story. If you are a daytime drinker like me...guildford is great. You can alway head for the uni at 11pm.

i love the guildford nightlife. monday nights in rsvp/spoons, followed by the drink are awesome. as its been said, guildford is definately more of a pub town, with the star, the weyside, the kings head, farenheit, ha has, spoons etc. at night you may be limited to Time, the drink, the voodoo lounge and bar med (more of a bar with a dancefloor, but still a good laugh), but i never tire of it, and neither does anyone i know x
