I know basically what i'm doing... I'm just not too hot at explaining things that aren't psychology! lol.
Anyway, I have to explain how i am going to dilute some hydrochloric acid and why i'm diluting it in the first place. I have 0.3 mol dm^3 of acid and an approx concentration of 0.015 of calcium hydroxide. So i need to dilute the acid to 0.03 mol dm^3 don't i?
OK, so how do i go about writin that in english! lol. any pointers?

Take volume x of the acid, put it in a volumetric flask with a measurement of 10x, and fill upto the line with water. that will effectively decrease the moles per unit volume by a factor of ten.
