I really like one of my female college teachers (I'm female too). The problem is that in lessons I act weird around her....go really sulky or really weird/hyper. When I sulk/act depressed there's nothing actually wrong - I'm just doing it for her attention( but she doesn't give me any attention). I don't like acting like this but it's because of her. I just wanna be her friend...'cause she seems really mysterious and fun etc. When she makes small talk with me I don't really know what to say...It's like I can't be myself around her.

So what should I do about it? I don't like acting weird in front of her just to get her attention.

unfortunatly not alot. teachers rules and guidelines prevent teachers from realy building a true relation ship with students. (unless there over 18 
) the best way to get her attention would be to work hard and do well in her lessons, answer questions, voulenteer for stuff etc. just don't become to much of a pet and she'll notice you and be friendly

Hi, same thing happened to me when I used to fancy my (male) french teacher. You cant really do much- having said that I used to act really stupid so he would come and help me alot!!!!!. Kinda opposite to the other suggestion of try hard
My friend from a (different school) fancies one of his teachers and acts all depressed around them, so she thinks hes got serious family problems and 'supports him' but that’s sort of exploitative i think.

Yep, agree.
However being a **** he wont listen, no matter how many times me and other people tell him what he's doing is WRONG and taking advantage of someones good nature.
