I'd say meeting in a bar or club has tended to be a crap way for me to meet people. Sure I meet tons of them but I don't remember who people are when they randomly yell "Hi Kate" from across the street.

My better relationships have been when I've met someone whilst I'm doing something I really enjoy. I met some of my favorite people, both relationship wise and friend wise, at the ski hills I have worked at.
Such places have included...dun dun daaaaa...

Houseparties, partyparties and......(most memorable and bestest of all)...an engineering Headstart course at Loughborough Uni!!

House parties are always good, if they're a friend or a friend of a friend you can find out more about them or if they're trustworthy. I met my boyfriend through other friends and it was the best thing i've ever done. It also makes it easier because you can all go out together and have something in common  xxx

Headstart seems to be a romance hotspot, at least 2 couples were formed at the one I went to
Met my last boyfriend through friends, met the current one at work. I always like to meet people in a setting where I can get to know them a bit first before anything happens.
met my bf through his sister who is a very good friend of mine

met my bf through a hobby of mine, we were friends first
people always laugh when i tell them where i met my boyfriend. Were both really into our sports and i play for my uni's hocky team and he plays for the rugby team. in our first week in uni we were both training and the rugby ball came flying and hit me right on the head, he came running up to me all sweaty and covered in mud and he picked me up and asked if i was ok, and invited me out for a drink that night to apologise.....and weve never looked back
1st bf-local music shop
2nd bf- in the queue for Oblivion at Alton Towers, whilst on a school trip
3rd bf (current)- in the mosh pit during Hundred Reasons' set at Leeds Festival 2004
air cadets...
Its a suprisingly good place to go to meet lads, they outnumber girls about 5:1 (and some of them are nice and normal, although there are one or two nutters who are just their for the guns... XD)
