Drugs at Oxbridge??

One of the 'Oxbridge stereotypes' which i so often hear of is intellectuals going around stoned off their heads. I was wondering to what extent is this true? Or are things like drugs non-existent at Oxford and Cambridge? Just curious....

Does it matter? With costs at Cambrigde being what they are, you probably won't be able to afford drugs anyway. Having said that, both Oxford and Cambridge are close to London where there are more drugs than you can shake a syringe at.

Cambridge claim to be under the national average for living costs? Is this true do you think? I got some info in recently from them about costs and stuff, it did seem to mount up, but i dont know if its really that much on average. My bro went to birmingham, which is cheaper i think.

Birmingham is a really cheap place to be in general... Cambridge costs that I know of seem to be a lot less than London, for example.

Let's get things right: It's far less common than most people think and its far more common for people to not do drugs (other than alcohol).

Every male I know that went to boarding school has done pot. This includes places like Eton, Marlborough, Stonyhurst and Ampleforth and many others. A lot of these still do it, so i'd say that assumption is a little of the mark seen as about half of the students at Cam went to schools like these.
