Hi, I need help with some of these questions about the products of photosynthesis in plants:
1)Why is some glucose turned into sucrose?
2)Sugars must be transported to other parts of the plant to provide raw materials for growth and respiration. Give examples of part of a plant that need sugar, appart from shoot/root tips, potato tubers and swollen roots like carrot.
3)Suggest what happens to the sucrose when it reaches a storage organ such as a potato.
4)Suggest what happens to the sugar before it is used as a raw material for growth.
Thank you very much for your help.
