I'm currently in year 3 of studying Pharmacy and have been considering a career switch to Law, so doing GDL (law conversion) after the 4 years. Is there anybody else who is considering this or has actually done this?

Would be great to hear from you!
Just out of interest, why don't you want to do something in pharmacy?
About going into law, you will have to do the GDL and then the LPC which are both one year long. Most people start looking for training contracts and vacation schemes in their penultimate year if i'm not mistaken. This is the route I would advice as I don't think you would want to self fund the two courses as they would cost like £30k. Law is very competitive though, although if you want to do it I would say go for it.

I'm applying for Law at University.
Ive had an interest in law for a long time and would enjoy doing a career in law more than for example community or hospital pharmacy, so wanted to go towards law career specialising in pharmacy e.g. intellectual property. And well yes for a non-law candidate which is me you apply in your final year of study (law candidates apply in penultimate year).
Lol I was hoping it would reach the OP through the E-mail notification
You are in roughly the same position as other non law grads. Theres a chance you could use your degree , but am not usre ug alone would make it competitive unless its a good grade from a good uni.
