Best night for going out in Brighton?

Hoping some Sussex students could help me! Planning an overnight trip to Brighton once exams have finished to get the feel for the area (and get VERY excited) and want to make sure I pick a night to go that's going to be lively.

So, what would you say is the best night for going out around Brighton? Also when do the uni students go home? I'm sure it'll be a lot quieter when they leave!

They go home when term's over. A lot go home at the weekend too, but not enough so it's crap.

And, erm, I prefer to go out on the weekdays, Monday-Thursday. It's generally cheaper and more student-y. The weekends get expensive (£15 entry to some clubs), but Fridays you can find some studenty things. That one you have to know what you're looking for though. On a Tuesday you can stumble into pretty much any club that's open and expect it to be cheaper. Friday you have to know more what you're after. If that makes sense.

I've not yet been out on a Saturday, the prospect scares me. The weekend has a lot of people coming down from London for a weekend clubbing. So I guess it's expensive.

Errr, 20-somethingth of June.

I finish early so I don't know.

Towards the end of June is exam time, mind.

I love going out at wednesday! 80's night at the beach is the best night ever! most students go home at the end of june at the latest

i like wednesday for honey club, creation etc, thursday just IS casablanca night lol! and friday hothouse hehe!

Thursdays are for Pav Tav if you like a proper atmosphere and good tunes.

Monday at Po Na Na is pretty good (and cheap!)....loads of students go there. Otherwise Audio on Tuesday is great fun or on Thursday it has to be Casablanca. If you're into clubbing go to Honey Club - avoid Creation like the plague. Anyway, in conclusion you can pretty much find anywhere Monday - Thursday that will be lots of fun and full of students.

wednesday's are traditionally student nights, tho at thursday in casablanca they have free entry before a certain time (i always forget what time tho!) and tequila shots for £1 and bottle beer for £1.50 :biggrin:

I think free entry is before 11pm at Casablanca. :smile:

Spent way too much time there in the first term and now don't go anymore... :frown:

ditto!!! was there EVERY single thursday in first term, havent been in a few weeks now tho :frown:

loved it there so will have to make an effort to go next time im bk in Brighton hehe!
