fake tan and real tan confusion

OK, so a while ago (early spring) I put fake tan on one day when i went to school, and I got the piss ripped out of me, even though i looked pretty damn good :cool:

(im male). However, I also catch the sun very easily, and today, I was playin sports and I have gone quite brown. Tomorow, it is goin to be so bad, because people will think ive self tanned again, even though i havent. So how do I prove that it is real and not fake?

get them to smell you lol!

you can normally smell if it is fake tan!

show them your tanlines..? you must have them assuming you weren't playing sport naked.

I doubt it will be like the fake tan you got before... you won't have the obvious signs of a fake tan where there's that orange tinge or that pasty 'hey, my skin's doesn't have any shades or tones!' sorta look.
Natural tans also fade quite naturally, well the fake ones just seem to disappear the day after when you majorly scrub it off in embarassment! You'll be fine I reckon.
Most people should be able to tell the difference though, don't you think?

a natural tan makes you "glow" - i.e makes you look healthy.
fake tan on the other hand makes you just look a wierd brown colour a bit like mud - i once put some on and my mum asked me when i last showered....never used it again
