Telling a girl you like her over a long distance SMS.
Okay here's the deal.....
Met this girl who's a friend of a friend about two weeks ago on a night out. We got on really well when we were out but no real action took place. Anyway I end up getting her number at the end of the night. Problem is she pretty much lives in Birmingham due to commitments. She's got her family up here so she does come up now again (next time will be August). The thing is is that we've been texting and I'm really starting to like her.
Should I tell her that? I mean, from here to Birmingham is like a 4 hour drive so we are far away. Is there any point in teling her how I feel when the chances are it would just be too difficult to get anything out of it? Yeah there is always weekends to visit each other, and she is great. But we live so far away from each other....
Any suggestions on whether I should tell her I like her?

tell her, if the only thing worrying you is distance dont let it. you could do alternate (sp?) trips or meet half way there are so many options. if you think she might like you too tell her.

Don't let the long distance put you off if you really like her. But I think you should tell her in person rather than by text, are you likely to see her any time soon?

She is definetely coming up in August so not really. She might decide to come back up for a weekend in between now and then.....I dunno.
So if I do tell her then it's gunna be through a phone call or SMS.

Yeah I say you shud tell her. Distance should be no problem.
the phone or msn would be a better option as you can talk it out and it wouldnt be out of the blue.. and if its a sms.. its better if its after a conversation and not out of the blue.. i've done it thru a sms long distance.. and it did work.. well things didnt work out but he did like me back.. so anyways go for it .. and good luck
