The G-Star boat set sail long ago. That's all it ever was tbh a fad. Either go with the new fad, or stick to the classics (Diesel/Levis)

Like everyone else has said, Diesel/Levis it is in that price range. Just don't bother with others, it's not worth it, unless you're going for the very dark black look, maybe it's worth looking around then.

I have an awesome pair from River Island, fairly new though so idk if they're going to fade or not. I'm gonna take good care of them though, the freezer treatment regularly.

I'd say Levi's were better, take a look at office or bank for some nice stuff

I got some G-Star Jeans a long time ago from my cousin, I didn't like the fit or design.

I've had quite a few brands, but diesel fits me the best. Try on a few and go for one that fits you well, I squat deep so my ass is quite big and muscley, only diesel seems to work, whereas my bro wears skinny jeans for example. So really do go around and try on different jeans etc.

They look really nice, good price for g-star as well. Levi's are another good brand in that price range. I like the stitching of the separate panels on those though, I saw a similar pair in a shop which had a really nice fit and as people have said colour retention will be good. Looking at them they only have 34L so as long as you're tall and reasonably slim they should be awesome.

Ignore the people saying g-star is whatever as by wearing them you'll avoid having to speak to those sorts of people in real life haha. Although G-Star can be expensive as with all designers you pay for the label etc, but as these are in the sale they're a much better deal. Whether G-Star is overall worth it generally is up to you and depends how much you like similar cheaper styles.

The brand was originally Gap Star, but they changed it to G-Star when going international to avoid lawsuits from Gap.

If Gstar was chavy they wouldnt sell them in SELFRIDGES...,for jeans you should look in tk maxx, for the sa;es they seem to have a decent selection of jeans for once I picked up a pair of DKNY jeans for £35 which retail for £90 on the dkny website. Abercrombie are Fitch jeans are definatly more available to chavs you can pick them up from sports direct for £15!!! granted they are womens but still.

I want to make a joke about G-Star and G-Strings, but nevermind, the moment has passed and the irony is gone.

What do you think of these jeans (http://www.bankfashion.co.uk/product...uct2#infoPanel ).

I don't know if 34L would fit me as 36L is a bit loose (I always wear a belt whenever I wear 36L or 36R)

Those are seriously bad. Awful wash, horrible extra 'panel' details, loose fit (vast majority of people can't pull this fit off). If your even contemplating buying them then all hope is lost.

4 things I associate with G-Star:

  • Tacky
  • Chavvy
  • Overpriced
  • Random-bits-of-fabric-and-massive-branding-arranged-over-ill-fitting-garments

OP, to be fair the jeans you've chosen aren't the worst pair of G-Stars I've ever seen coming from of that god awful label (they aren't reminiscent of #4) but I would be wary of venturing into the realm of tacky G-Star clothing. You certainly don't want to be rewarding the designers and sellers of such sh*t clothing with another £65.

If you want decent raw jeans for a similar price then get one of these instead:

Why the **** would you spend £70 on jeans from uniqlo when you could get a pair of Levis for the same price?

I'm usually about 36 inch but I wear a belt because 36 inch is a bit loose.

Last time I wore a 34 inch Voi Jeans, it was a perfect fit. A bit tight but was good.

Should I get the G-Star in 34 inch L

Because the uniqlo ones are decent quality raw selvedge denim. To my knowledge Levi's don't do raw denim in their basic range and certainly not for under £70.
