How do you operationalise these variables?

your defining this far too broadly-- what kind of memory (long term/short-term/procedural???), aggression in what context, and speed (well this is obviously distance/time), plus you haven't said in what context this study will be?
Well you could pick literally anything- that would be fine for memory, for aggression you could look at the likilihood of getting angry or punching a nun, and for speed you could measure how fast a plane goes.

Really struggling with psychology homework, I've looked in books, websites, class notes and I cannot find anything

Speed

Memory

Aggression

Speed: Measured in time taken to do something, i.e. write out a sentence.

Memory: So the Miller's Magic number thing and read out a list of numbers with the number of numbers increasing by 1 each time i.e. 1, 12, 125, 1256 etc.

Aggression: Use a survey e.g. You lose a bet on a horse what is your reaction: Angry, worried, anxious, happy etc.
