Sharing with girls?

How's the atmosphere in your house?

I've read so many stories recently about people living in flats and there being a really awful atmosphere, it seems to be more of an issue with girls though. I'm now getting a bit worried because i'l be sharing with girls next year, and even though I might be lucky with some really lovely people and I tend to be able to avoid arguments, I don't want to be stuck in a house with people that don't get on.

Please vote andtell me how and if it's affected you, or post if you're going to uni and you're worried too!

Yes

We don't have flats as such here, most accommodation is split up into staircases or individual houses. But these are mixed and it's mostly fine.

Yeah i think they do. But also in the second year people live out of uni accomodation and it can be mixed sex. Then again by that point they've chosen who they want to live with so they should get on xxxx

I live with two boys and another girl and we all get on really well. Having said that we chose who we wanted to live with so its not like we were put with complete randoms. We have a great time in our flat and i only wish that it didnt have to change next year :frown:

I'm in mixed now as it's corridor style Halls.
Next year I will be the only girl in my house. I'm happier with guys and get on with them better than girls generally so decided to live with the guys.
Personally if I lived with all girls I would probably get annoyed very quickly. I really depends on your personality and the others.

I live with my bf it is a bit of a different situation, however last year I lived with my boyfriend and two other guys and the environment was horrible, very tense. I think it just depends on the house and the situation.
