post-gay?

I was reading an article yesterday that talked about a new 'wave' of sexuality called 'post-gay'. Its something that is increasingly common in our generation (15 - 20?) which is a sexuality which transcends gay, bi or straight. Just people that do it with whoever, dosn't matter the sex. But its not exactly being bi because its a way of being which dosnt really take in account the sex of the person that you are doing it with...wait that dosnt make sense...the article was much clearer....well. I've had experiences with girls but I never really considered myself either being gay or bi. Does anyone relate to this?

yeah. only with human beings though...gross...

Because I see this in my friends as well. Not lesbians, but if ur in the moment, why not? I think it makes a lot of sense. The same goes for guys.

Isn't that exactly what bisexuality is?

On further reading it's a not a sexuality, its a state of thinking where sexuality isn't an issue in society anymore so you worry about more important problems

yeah...the article was very specific and made a clear distinction between being a bisexual and being whatever. I wish I knew where I put that bloody magazine. I'll look for it. But I thought it was very interesting because it's a way of seeing things that is totally new. Even my mother, which was and is a hippie dosnt understand when I try to explain. She found out that I occasionally hooked up with this girl so she now thinks that i'm a lesbian...but its not true. I can't really make her understand and she's a very open minded woman.

Not quite. Bisexuality means an attraction to both sexes, and implies the possibility of falling in love with both sexes. I have heard about this phenomenon, and can relate it to several of my friends, whereby they'd just make out with anyone they could.
