    BB1, BBC2, ITV, Channel 4 and depending on whether I had a signal or not due to interference by the weather, Channel 5 :pierre:

    No, I was a very simple minded child What makes you think I would have been watching political shows on TV? :hmmm:

    oh the five channels that was the good thing in holland instead of having 5 channels we had a lot of awesome channels :yep:

    that was one of my theories why you like politics and all the economical stuff and all that :yep:

    The five channels were the only ones on analogue terrestrial TV :yep: Basically anyone using an aerial, would pick up those TV channels. Whereas if someone had satellite or cable, they could pick up many more channels :yep: I doubt the Netherlands would have had many channels though on analogue. TV stations took up a lot of wavelength and therefore only a certain amount of channels could be added and thus picked up by aerial :erm: Maybe I am talking rubbish? :dontknow:

    You must of had digital TV when in the Netherlands :yep:
