    Hey i have an interview at Coventry Uni and i have to write a short essay detailing the 'typical working day of a journalist' Im not sure where to start with it anyone have any advice?

    I guess it depends on what kind of journalist- a features editor would be very different to a local reporter. also many journalists now make videos and do web work, in addition to what they do in print.

    what would a journalist do to answer this question?

    a good one would probably ring up a newspaper/news station- could you call/email your local paper. i think that would show you went the extra mile, which would really make your application stand out
