Have you tried meditation? watch


    I've read that practicing mindfulness meditation can lead to modest improvements in cognition (i.e. increased working memory). I've attempted it before, but I don't seem to have the patience for it.:dontknow:

    I actually did it in my English lesson as weird as that may sound. It was because we were doing Basho- A Narrow Road and our teacher wanted us to get a feel for the book and author. So he talked us through the techniques of meditating which he does regularly himself and it was really hard at the beginning as you have to think of nothing. You basically go into your self, not thinking about what you feel, may see when you open your eyes, hear or smell. I thought it would be easy at first but it's really hard.
    I now have the hang of it and it's really relaxing
Do you think parents should charge rent?
