    Career prospects a statistically pretty much equal for UCL and LSE straight economics whereas the student experience is significantly better at UCL so I made the decision to choose UCL.

    Doesn't matter for me anyway as I now have a Cambridge offer.

    I'd have to say Spanish and especially Portuguese, followed by odd eastern european languages and turkish and other emerging markets langauges. German, French, Italian are all good to have, but there are so many native speakers around that they don't need to hire a non-native speaker. The exception is of course if you speak several and can mix it up.
