Fulham playing rugby in defence, can't believe that wasn't a penalty...

Rooney getting in really good positions for us so far, unlucky not to have 2 or 3!

Nani needs to sort himself out or **** off..how many opportunities is he gonna waste just piddling along then smashing the ball off the first defender

If Rooney could have finished better, we would be more than a goal up.
Giggs and Carrick best players on the pitch.

Rooney could have scored 2 if it wasn't for great/lucky goalkeeping. Decent half, Carrick is dominating, back four is solid.

Nani has been threatening and his movement has been top notch. Final ball has been blocked too much though tbh, but when it has come off his final ball has far from been terrible. One near the end was crying for Hernandez to be on the end of but he was deeper than usual and put one on a plate that Rooney was unlucky not to score

Loving Rooneys link up between the midfield and attack too, something we miss a lot with him out.

We actually scored a penalty !
Giggs is a good penalty taker, really composed in general and doesn't miss much. Hopefully, we can score one more in the second half.

    Fantastic by Anderson + Rooney

Wanted Rooney to score, been denied by great saves/goal line clearances three times now

I love Hernandez, he's not been getting too much game time of late. He'd be my standard 70th minute sub if I were manager.

Anderson is impressing me so much at the minute, another fantastic ball. He deserves to keep his place IMO. And good to see Wayne get one away at last.

Fair play to Nani for the second goal, credit were credits due.

If Anderson could get a decent run in the team without injury, he could be a key part of the midfield for us.

Carrick, Cleverley and Anderson would make a great three man midfield if we ever played a proper 4-3-3 system

Nice to see a Hernandez brace, even if his second was a touch fortuitous. Not sure we can take much from this game, other than players like Anderson/Nani/Rooney getting match sharp and looking lively. Smalling/Jones looking good at CB again, despite the conceded goal. A rest for RVP is great too. Fulham were beyond pathetic though, no fight.. so it's hard to really judge. Been a bit of a stroll.
