Got an Italian international GK on loan and Flamini, who isn't a world beater but was a regular for ACM last season and does his job well, get him back to 2008 levels and he's a beast.

But yeah once you account for player sales we've sold 10m worth and cleared literally about 300k from the wage bill so we left loads in the kitty. Baffled why we didnt sign a CB, although Sagna is fine there if needed but then leaves us with 1 junior RB, and Vermaelen will come back. Cant blame him for not getting a ST as there simply arent any available.

Overall I expect us to be back in January for more of the same.
GK and Flamini I'm really not convinced by but Ozil could turn out to be the signing of the summer. Really excited to see him! And if you suffer further injuries to the back 4 I think you might be in trouble. Attacking wise I don't see you guys having any problem with.

Wenger's spent about 60m net since 1996 man. Given the resources at this disposal, which by the way are self generated unlike some others, he's still showing remarkable restraint. Look at how many youth products we have in the CI for a start. If we're buying success then so are BVB/Bayern as they're the same.
Yeah true. Soz for the insult

JUST FFS Moyes is an amateur. Have to accept that we're not going to mix it with the big boys for a long time. Bayern Munich would completely tear us a new one.

The **** is the point of signing Coentrao? Similar player to Evra, but is he there to replace him? Why... Evra isn't the main problem? Is he there to play on the left wing... well if Rooney is playing AM, you're phasing out Kagawa pretty much. Bizzare really. Is he just there as a backup?

Coentrao as a left winger would be ****ing EXCELLENT, even if it is just a loan. We've needed one to replace Giggs ever since Tosic never made it here.

I can't stop laughing about the Coentrao loan deal, hope it's true. He'll be a good addition to our squad.

Ok on the Barcaforum and reported by spanish media, apaprently Herrera deal broke down because we brought the paperwork for him in the wrong language.
First they go it was imposters acting to be united reps and then this. I don't know what to believe! But in all honesty I don't know why we needed him. Moyes needs to have trust in Kagawa cause he's one of the best when he's in form. Don't understand why he's not even making the bench.

    CONFIRMATION:

"Confirmation from Manchester United that three men who reportedly attempted to negotiate a deal to sign Athletic Bilboa midfielder Ander Herrera were not acting on behalf of the Premier League champions and were, for want of another word, imposters.

"Reports in Spain claim three men dressed in black suits and claiming to be United "representatives" spent an hour at the La Liga offices attempting to negotiate a deal. The move collapsed at the 11th hour."

Baines is probably gutted - seen his mate Fellaini go and he's been left behind. Coentrao, in the search for a left back, was the more logical option. Evra's probably quivering into his late night coco.

Coentrao won't come in and play LW, pretty certain about that. Played at DM more in recent years than at LW. Best at LB though, by a considerable amount. Won't come in and play DM for us haha.

Moysie obviously woke up at 10.58pm, and quickly signed two players in two minutes. Efficient.

The imposters were a smokescreen for Coentrao, obviously.

11 - Marouane Fellaini scored 11 PL goals last season, only one Man Utd midfielder (Kagawa, 6), scored more than two. Welcome.

Not going to score those goals again with us but if he can get half of those from set-pieces then not a bad start.

Fellaini, for his good or bad, is with us and it's time, as hard as it is, to move on from this transfer debacle and move on.

But Woodward needs a serious good kicking....(verbally that is).

Coentrao should be used as a winger, seen him play there for Portugal in the world cup and is a very attacking minded player. Could provide some decent crossings.

But did we really need him? No.

Coentrao is a pretty **** defender.

Absurd signing, have no clue why you signed him.
