    I'm trying to do question 7(a) but just cannot do it. If anyone could go through the question with the working out it would be really helpful. Thanks

    If it's hovering then there is no resultant force, so we can infer that weight = change in momentum / time.

    So as weight is equal to 0.6 we can say that the change in momentum is = to 0.6 x 10 = 6.0kgms-1

    Momentum is equal to mass x velocity so velocity = change in momentum / mass = 6 / 1.5 = 4.0ms-1
