Channel Orange was good. I also liked Bruce Springsteen's 'Wrecking Ball' and 'Born and Raised' by John Mayer.

Although I think 'Sunken Condos' by Donald Fagen was my favourite. He's still got it. Classic stuff.

Personally, it would probably have to be The Cribs, 'In the belly of a brazen bull'. Still as electric as ever, even without Johnny Marr

I'd either go Purity Ring - Shrines or John Talabot -Fin (also sad not to see Grimes - Visions there!!)

I think Purity Ring just edge it though.

Death by Jim Lockey was pretty amazing and definitely my favourite. I quite enjoyed Wrecking Ball by Bruce Springsteen as well.

Channel Orange is just so beautiful, and each song links with the other so well. Love it.

The 2nd Law. I don't care what people say, it's a solid album. Yes, it's a different direction to Muse's earlier stuff, but there are some cracking tracks on there (Supremacy, Madness, Panic Station, Survival, Liquid State and even Unsustainable, after experiencing it live!).

      Babel - Mumford & Sons.

Every now and again, an album comes along from some brilliant artists where every single song is amazing. For me, this was one of them. I was worried that perhaps they wouldn't be able to live up to the first album, but they far and away surpassed it.
