    Deadlift:

    220*2 @ 9.5

    e1rm = 238

    Pin Squat:

    150*2 @ 9.5

    e1rm = 162.5

    SLDL:

    150*2*5

    Deadlift is still weak but better than last week. Pin squat was actually quite good today surprisingly. A shame that I couldn't do them last week.

    BP almost felt like speed work today. Probably should've added a bit of weight.

    Squat:

    172.5*1 @ 9

    e1rm = 184

    1 Inch Deficit Deadlift:

    225*1 @ 10

    e1rm = 225

    Felt quite strong today. Never squat 172.5 or deficit Deadlifted 225. Technically my deficit e1rm went down but the fact that I've never done a 1rm with it is probably a big reason why.

    Tough day. Still recovering really.

    Thinking of switching up what I do a little. Normally I like to just increase the intensity up over the weeks but I might try undulating it e.g:

    4's @8
    2's @ 8
    3's @ 8
    2rm
    3rm
    1rm

    Maybe, but I generally go through phases of when I'm really interested in learning strength stuff. At a bit of a lull atm so it doesn't stick out as something I really want to do.

    My bad if you've stated this earlier on in the thread, but how are you programming your volume/intensity blocks?

    My bad if you've stated this earlier on in the thread, but how are you programming your volume/intensity blocks?
    Was originally doing it so I basically increase the intensity each week i.e.

    Vol:

    4/5's @ 8-9
    3's @ 8-9
    2's @ 8-9

    Int:

    3RM
    2RM
    1RM

    But I'm trying something a bit different this cycle where I undulate the intensity so like:

    4/5's @ 8-9
    2's @ 8-9
    3's @ 8-9

    2RM
    3RM
    1RM

    Something that a few periodised programs do and I saw it mentioned in Mike's book so I thought I'd give it a try.

    I've moved Thursday and Friday down a day as I am pretty ill. Think I have food poisoning or something. Spent most of yesterday in bed and I can barely eat. Not great!

    As expected my Deadlift was weak as **** but I somehow had my best ever pin squat session so far.

    Also retarded **** of the day: Guy does a near maximal set of something like 140kg*8 and then says he's going for a PB of 200kg. For some reason he put on 225kg and tries to lift it while swearing and screaming at the top of his lungs....
