So, I am 18 and i recently passed my driving. woohooo!!!! and now what is pissing me off is the insurance. I heard that it's pretty expensive for a new young driver but i have to do that. So i am thinking of adding myself as a second driver on my dad's car and well, how much does it cost? Btw, my dad is with santander and is it cheaper to add as a second driver or doing insurance on your own car, if i get one someday ?

It depends on a few things - try putting details of your dad's car with you as a driver on gocompare then put in the details of a few random cars you're interested in?
