    Hi
I have this questions and i don't know what to do. I think i have to times the radial by angular wave function but i don't know how to figure out he diagrams in would produce

Draw diagrams to show cross-sections of each of the following orbitals in
the xy-plane. Label angular and radial nodes:
    2px
    3py
    3d x^2-y"
    3dxy

    Thanks for your help

I think, though its not my board just some reading, that you shoud know them by memory. Then on http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Hy...sity_Plots.png you can clearly see the radial (circles), and angular (lines) of the nodes =)

Radial nodes are the ones which go in circles. eg (2,0,0) and angular is straight lines eh (2,1,1) =)
