When I first started my periods at 13 I had very bad cramps, so much that I wouldn't be able to walk, I would just curl up in a ball and cry until they want away. Nowadays, nearly 7 years later, they're much milder and I only really get discomfort the day before and on the first day of my period.

I've never experienced any kind of emotional change before or during my periods though. What are your experiences with PMS?

You're lucky, I started off my periods around 12 years old, completely pain free with minor 'Grrr, gonna get ya' angry moments, but 6 years later it ranges from mild discomfort to nearly throwing up in public. Still a bit weird emotionally, stuff that usually would only mildly bother me makes me so angry I've ended up in tears before. I love PMS

That's awful my friend had such severe cramping she had to be put on medication, not sure if that's the case now. Mine seem to be a little worse than usual at the moment, I'm not entirely sure why but I've been under a lot of stress in the last few months so that may be an explanation.
