What are the effects of diet soft drinks on your health and body? Are they really that much better than the original version. Obviously the amount of sugar in them isn't good but are there any other interesting factors to consider.
    What about people with diabetes?

No, infact they are worse for your health than the regular soft drinks. This is because of the chemical Aspartame which is an artificial sweetner. http://www.livestrong.com/article/29...-side-effects/

Its difficult to not drink soft drinks when mixing with alcohol- but now im trying to replace coca cola with organic coke http://www.amazon.co.uk/Whole-Earth-...I1Q1T19RYDU42F

Might not be good for your teeth or if you suffer from PKU, but moderate consumption is fine overall.

Nonsense. Most of the controvesy over Aspartame is Daily Mail type scaremongering. If it was proven to be harmful in moderate amounts then why is it still allowed in food? This link shows that in 2007 the FDA said there was no conclusive evidence that it was carcinogenic.
