Recently I've been thinking about my ex and about asking to get back together with her. But today, when I was watching Top of the pops, two songs came on at a convenient time: Taylor Swift - We are never getting back together (sign seems fairly straightforward) and Rita Ora - RIP. If you don't know this song, the chorus goes "R.I.P to the girl you used to see, her days are over, baby she's over" (again, another straight forward sign).

This got me thinking, do you think there are things out there that give you signs in life? Or is it more of a case of you think so much into some thing and so you pick up on the "actions of the world" that relate to it more.

    What do you think?

Do you guys have any examples of these signs you might've come across?

I personally don't believe in signs. I believe because of the situation you're going through you seem to be more conscious of things around you. (That probably didn't make any sense). You are probably more aware of the songs because they relate to your problem/situation you are in.

yeah it seems to me that your mind makes you see things or draws your attention to things that you wouldn't have noticed before

I think people choose to see signs in order to gain comfort over a decision they were uncertain and maybe not confident about making.

Coincidence. The channel would've chosen to air that particular episode of Top of the Pops on that day regardless of whether you were thinking of your ex-girlfriend or not, and you just happened to be watching it.

Some 'signs' are so strong that it's hard to attribute them to coincidence.
