Ive put Exeter as my first choice for politics (BBB) just wondering if there is anyone out their, who will be joining me? Really looking forwrad to it, although bit apprehensive as its a long way from Suffolk to Exeter.
Exeter is my first for history and politics. I'll be coming from Cardiff, even further! I'm a bit apprehensive too, as it's going to be so different to the living in a biggish city.
Exeters gonna b big for me! I come from a Cotswold town with 1 club, no cinema and generallly very little to do. Hopefully doing economics with a couple of politics modules if I can fit them in.
Seriously, Exeter is the most un-scary city ever. It's in Devon, which is so quaint and cutesy-pie anyway! There's 2 'big' clubs in the form of Arena and Timepiece; I go to them all the time now and they're really cool, not massive and not too rough, either.
City centre is big enough to house everything but not big enough to get lost in. Love Exeter, lovely place, shame it's a bit too close to home, really.
In the form of clubs there is also Warehouse - bigger than both Arena and the Piece, used to be the place to be on a Thurs but now it's all about the Arena love. Also Rococo's - chav hole. If you like Indie music there's The Cavern, which is really good for alternative nights, and Three Fat Fish. And last but not least, everyone's favourite Exeter night - Lemmy Saturday! I know how you feel about coming from a small place, Exeter is the biggest city near to home. It's awesome for me because it's so easy to get home, but far enough away to not feel I have to go home all the time. I can't imagine having gone any further now! Even though to me it's a fairly big place, everything is still close enough to walk to and I feel so safe walking around, especially on campus. EDIT: Any questions about history/politics feel free to message me
