    Hey

So I have taken a year off and now hoping to start Uni in September. I was just wondering, will I be older than everyone in my halls/ on my course or will there be others like me who have started a year later?

    Thanks

I didnt take a yr our but at my uni halls a lot of people took a year out. it really doesnt make a difference, there was a few who took 2. So doubt u will be the oldest and if so its only a year or 2. U will still have a good time

You really will not be the oldest. Loads of people take at last one gap year.

I was 26 when I started my degree and still wasn't the oldest person on the course.

No, not at all. Gap Year doesn't make a big difference in your life. Relax and make new friends!
    Btw, which uni?

In my flat of 9 in first year, more people had taken at least one gap year than didn't...

I'm 21 and the youngest of 6 of us. Over half the people on my course must have had a few years gap too

Lots of people take gap years, and I'm one of them. In my first year halls flat, which had 8 people, 4 of us had had gap years.
