I've got mine this January and I haven't really revised much. Don't worry - they don't really count. I don't have science modules (I do IGCSE), but if I did then I'd be focussing on them like you are, so I think what you're doing is fine! Good luck!

I did revise for my mocks, that was because most sixth-forms made offers based on mock grade's, I don't know if you school has mentioned that to you or not. Let's say you do really well in your January mock exams, you could achieve an unconditional offer from your sixth-form of choice and cut out the stress of the real exams

Thanks for your replies! I'm just going to look over the subjects the night before or during school as we'll be in free study for two weeks. Anyway we are automatically in our 6th form unless we do REALLY badly in the actual exams!

nope. I've got real science exams at the same time, so wouldn't sacrifice those for 'fake' exams at the same time

For the earlier ones, yes, but I very quickly got less bothered and stopped.

Tbh I never found the need to. Quite a lot of it was common sense on the subjects I took and with specific info I only learnt it for the proper exam...

Sorry if this is a silly question; I am an international student you know, and I am going to be sitting the Cambridge IGCSE Physics (0625) exam. By Mock papers, do you mean past papers, but doing them as in the official test? (stopwatch, no cheating, organisation etc. etc...)

Yep that's exactly what it means. Also if you miss the actual exam because of unforeseen circumstances they will take the mock grade into consideration.

I've got all my mocks in January and haven't even opened a book related to any of the subjects! I've also got my science modules so have been revising for those instead...still I'm finding it hard to find the will power to revise for mocks! So the question is did you revise for your gcse mocks?
    Thanks

no, since they are only mocks. no one in the future will ask you what you got from your mocks, your real thing is the one that counts...

Haha. I planned to revise for the mocks over Christmas, and I kind of did. But I couldn't be bothered so only ended up doing about about 10 hours worth over the whole Christmas.
I'm revising for them this week in my free slots when I don't have exams. Our sciences are really hard though, because we do Edexcel IGCSE, so we don't have modules
