Hi there. So I've been researching/attempting to write my EU essay for a while now but I'm really struggling with actually bringing everything together and writing analytical, non-descriptive paragraphs about one area. I find everything links together so much that it's hard to keep separate, and I'm really just having an awful time with it! The title is:

Critically assess the protection of Fundamental Rights in the EU following the Treaty of Lisbon, focussing on the interaction between the Treaty of Lisbon, the EU Charter of Fundamental Rights and the European Convention on Human Rights.

So far, if I'm not describing the law, I'm simply describing what an academic has analysed instead of doing anything of my own. I'm also finding it hard to split everything into paragraphs since it all rolls in together for me!

I guess my question is how would you tackle this essay? Are there any good cases/articles you can recommend me?

Any help would be much appreciated.
