Okay so I'm in yr11 atm. I go to an all girls' secondary and the last time I've spoken to a guy my age and not related to me was in primary. I don't think I'm a particularly socially awkward person but I do like to go with the flow and as a result never made any guy friends outside of school unlike plenty of my peers.

Do you think it'll be really awkward for me in sixth form? I'm not lying or exaggerating when I say I know N O T H I N G about boys my age other than all the crap my friends tell me about their boyfriends. And I know not all boys are the same but boys are boys and girls are girls (and inbetweeners are inbetweeners :P)

I'm just worried that whatever new friends I make in sixth form will think of me as some weirdo who isn't interested in boys or that im a prude or whatever

Heyy, I suppose I've never really been in your situation before as the school I went to was mixed but I am at sixth form, I would say don't worry! There will be lots of other people there that are in the same situation as you, If you don't feel confident enough to talk to them then don't! People aren't going to think differently of you, Particularly not if they're your friends. If you want you could always make some mutual dude friends with some of your girl friends friend's <- (If that makes sense :L ) But most people are too wrapped up in there own lives to notice. You might find it weird in the first few weeks but you'll soon realise they're not that different
    Don't worry ~ xx
